DIGITAL WORKING TOOLS TRAINING

On 22nd August, 2023 TANLAP conducted a training for selected members on the use of digital working tools linking them with the Judicial processes and systems for easy provision of legal aid services in the country. Participants had an opportunity to learn the online platform of the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs (MoCLA) for an easy registration process and the TANLAP database system which captures all information on the provision of legal aid services from its members. Hon. Mary Gaspar Makondo the Permanent Secretary of the MoCLA officiated the training. In her speech, she urged Legal Aid Providers to work in a collaborative way with integrity, professionalism, and in accordance with the law. She emphasized the use of digital tools in capturing information about legal aid services and the provision of other judicial-related services to facilitate timely access to justice among indigents.
