On 4th November, 2023 TANLAP under Mwanamke Imara project continued its Advocacy on the Enactment of the Ant GBV Law by engaging some selected Members of Parliament to inform them on the development and share with them the process towards its Anti GBV Law advocacy. In her speech, Hon. Fatma Toufiq (MP), Chairperson of the Parliamentary Social Services and Community Development Committee applauded the Government for taking different efforts to end all forms of violence in Tanzania. She also applauded TANLAP under Mwanamke Imara Project for ongoing efforts and engagements with key stakeholders towards a noble process of seeking public consensus and acceptance to end GBV by enacting the Anti-GBV Law. The session was conducted at Miramonti Hotel in Dodoma.
