On 9th November, 2024, TANLAP conducted special training for 26 Advocates from all regions of Tanzania, focused on building their capacity to manage cases related to the Local Government elections that will be held on 27th November, 2024. This training, led by retired Judge Hon. Robert Makaramba, aimed at preparing lawyers to assist the community legally in election cases. Judge Makaramba has encouraged lawyers to use their expertise in protecting constitutional rights and stimulating the growth of democracy in the country.
This training has been facilitated by TANLAP with the support of USAID Tanzania through the USAID Wananchi Tuamue Project.
