1. IT Consultant
Responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice on IT strategy, systems, and infrastructure.
• Analyze and assess current IT systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teams to implement technology solutions.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in IT consulting or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, software, and infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in designing, managing, and maintaining databases (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of data encryption, backup systems, and secure data access controls to protect sensitive information. Proficiency in software languages (e.g., Python, Java, PHP) for customizing or creating database solutions. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for hosting and scaling databases.
• Skills in front-end and back-end development to create accessible interfaces for users to enter and access data.
• Knowledge of tools like Power BI, Tableau, or custom-built analytics tools to present data insights.
• Experience in delivering time-sensitive projects, especially in high-pressure work environments.
• Expertise in preventing and responding to cyberattacks that could target sensitive data, including Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks or phishing.
Experience and Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on database development and management for large-scale projects.
Soft Skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Proficient in explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
2. Facilitators
Responsibilities:
• Lead workshops and training sessions for diverse groups.
• Foster collaboration and engagement among participants.
• Design and implement effective facilitation strategies.
Qualifications:
• Experience in facilitation, training, or group dynamics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to various audience needs.
3. Report Writer Consultant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare comprehensive reports based on research and data analysis.
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
• Collaborate with teams to gather necessary information.
Qualifications:
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Experience in report writing, research, or data analysis.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
4. Communication Expert
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance organizational visibility.
• Create engaging content for various platforms (web, social media, print).
• Manage external communications.
Qualifications:
• Experience in communications, marketing, or public relations.
• Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Creative thinking and ability to convey complex information clearly.
5. Sign Language Specialists
Roles:
• Provide interpretation services for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Facilitate communication in various settings, including educational, medical, and community environments.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusion for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in sign language (e.g., ASL, BSL) and understanding of deaf culture.
• Certification in sign language interpretation (e.g., RID certification).
• Experience working with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
• Strong communication skills and patience.
• Ability to adapt to different communication needs and styles.
6. Performing Arts (PIA) Artistic Group
Roles:
• Participate in the creation and performance of artistic works, including theater, dance, music, or visual arts.
• Engage with the community through performances
Qualifications:
• Background in performing arts (theater, dance, music, visual arts) with relevant training or education.
• Experience in performance or artistic production.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
• Willingness to engage with various stakeholders
7. Data Analyst
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in election monitoring or social research.
• Experience with data collection and management in a non-profit or NGO environment is an advantage.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., ODK collect, Survey CTO, Excel, SPSS).
• Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong skills in database management (e.g., SQL, Access).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
• Ability to create comprehensive reports and visual presentations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team, including field observers and other stakeholders.
• Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
• Understanding of the socio-political landscape in Tanzania and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
• Willingness to travel to various observation sites as needed.
