TANLAP’s Executive Director is attending the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Regional Workshop on Enhancing Equal Access to Legal Aid in Criminal Justice Systems from September 24-26, 2024. This workshop is organized by UNODC in partnership with the Ministry of Justice of Namibia. During the event, she participated in a panel discussing innovative approaches to legal aid delivery for groups with specific rights and needs, and she presented on initiatives implemented in Tanzania to facilitate access to legal aid for persons with disabilities in criminal cases.
