On 8th November 2023, TANLAP under the Mwanamke Imara project engaged selected Members of Parliament to share with them the process to enact the Anti GBV Law. Members of the Parliament commended TANLAP's work under the Mwanamke Imara project for the ongoing efforts and engagements with key stakeholders to advocate for enacting the Anti-GBV Law that will address GBV in Tanzania comprehensively. Members of Parliament promised to support TANLAP initiatives in the Parliament including asking specific questions to the Government relating to when the Government will table a bill to enact the Anti-GBV law in Tanzania. The session was conducted at the Miramonti Hotel in Dodoma.
