At the forum, TANLAP’s Executive Director, Ms. Christina Kamili Ruhinda, was awarded a certificate of recognition for excellent performance, professionalism, and achievements in her role as the Chairperson of the Transitional Committee for the Coordination of the 2024 Non-Governmental Organizations Election. In addition, Ms. Ruhinda participated as one of the keynote speakers on the principles of transparency, accountability, integrity, and good governance in the performance of non-governmental organizations.
The guest of honor at the forum was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Dr. Doto Biteko, who emphasized the importance of non-governmental organizations in the development of social welfare and their contribution to strengthening democracy and good governance in the country. This forum provided an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and strengthen cooperation between non-governmental organizations and the government.
